From the moment materials arrive, FDL maintains rigorous quality control at every stage of production. Incoming materials are inspected against approved supplier certificates, with full traceability maintained from receipt through to finished component. During production, first-piece inspection is carried out on every set-up, with defined inspection points built into each production run to catch any deviations early and keep processes tightly controlled.
Every component undergoes final inspection against strict acceptance criteria before it is despatched, ensuring only compliant parts leave the facility. Any non-conformances are managed through robust CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) processes, so that every concern is investigated, resolved, and used to drive permanent improvement. This end-to-end approach to quality ensures consistent, reliable components that meet the demands of automotive, aerospace, and other high-performance sectors.
